Since the spark of an idea over thirty years ago to offer basic mentoring services for new bishops, the College for Bishops has grown and evolved to design,
develop and implement practical programs within a collegial and engaging
learning community. The following programs effectively address the
multi-faceted needs of bishops throughout their leadership journey (click a

College for Bishops has a huge impact on the wider Church in that its
care for the wellbeing, formation and education of bishops also extends
to others within the Church. Bishops provide pastoral care and
oversight of priests who in turn work more directly in serving the
people in the pew. As a result, an entire diocesan community ultimately
benefits from having a well-trained and healthy leader at the bishop
