Short Courses
are one-day offerings held the day before the
House of Bishops meetings begin. They offer opportunities to gain insight into and
participate in lively discussions regarding relevant and timely topics.
Past course topics include:
- Blogging
- Print Media
- The Care of People through the Painful Disciplinary Process: The Bishop as Pastor and Disciplinarian
- Experiencing Property Disputes, Unlicensed Priest / Bishops and DEPO
- Public Issues – Public Figures : Bishops Relating Effectively to Key Issues and Elected Officials

Small Group Study
These small, informal gatherings of bishops discuss
topics of their own choosing, and are suited for both retired and active
bishops. Regional groups determine their own meeting dates and locations, and
typically meet for 1 - 2 days, three times each year.
